When heading outside in wet, cold and windy conditions, the Bridgedale StormSock will help keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable.
Primarily knit from Merino Wool, which is well known for its natural anti-bacterial, anti-odour properties, their lightweight ankle sock has a thin non-cushioned lining that wicks moisture away from your feet.
The Nylon outer layer protects the Hydrotech* waterproof and breathable stretch PU membrane against abrasion, while the clever matrix lamination process bonds each layer together for comfort and practicality.
Lycra has been knit through every course to give you Bridgedale’s performance fit and, together with the flat toe seam and elastic arch support, ensure the sock remains in place without any hot spots.
Designed to fit just a few cm’s above the ankle bone, they are very light and unrestricted, helping to prevent heat building up in your lower leg – perfect for trail running and heading out across wet ground.

*The HydroTech PU membrane allowsperspiration to pass to the outer layer of thesock while preventing outside water fromgetting inside. The Hydrophilic nonporousPU membrane transports perspiration tothe outside via solid state diffusion meaningwater molecules are carried through thephysical membrane as it seeks to maintainheat and humidity equilibrium. This method ofmoisture transfer does not suffer from foreignobject contamination such as mud, dirt andsalts from sweat unlike the more commonmicroporous membranes commonly found inwaterproof clothing.
